ARI
Abbreviation for ACME Renewal Information
In short and in plain language
ARI is an add-on to another method.
That method issues website certificates. It also renews them on its own.
Through it, the body that hands out certificates gives a hint. It says when a certificate should be renewed. This can help stop them from running out.
Definition
ARI is an extension of the ACME protocol, which issues and renews website certificates automatically. Through it, the certification authority indicates the period in which a certificate should be renewed. This can help avoid expired certificates.
