dedicated contact from concept to operation

An online shop is not a website module you switch on in passing but a sales channel with its own requirements: it has to fit your products, your prices and your processes, it has to offer the right payment methods, and it has to work together with your inventory system so that orders are not retyped by hand. We build on Shopware in the Community Edition, an open-source shop system developed in Germany that covers both classic B2C catalogs and demanding B2B scenarios. As a full-service partner, we accompany you from the first concept sketch through design and development to ongoing operation, with a dedicated contact and a fixed price from 4,900 euros net.

What a Shopware online shop by XICWEB contains

A shop consists of far more than a product list and a cart. For visitors to become customers and orders to become smooth processes, many technical and design building blocks have to work together. The following six core areas form the foundation of every shop we build.

B2C and B2B scenarios

Whether an open consumer shop or a closed dealer area: we map customer groups, tiered prices, minimum order quantities, approvals and individual catalogs in Shopware, exactly as your business model requires.

The right payment methods

Purchase on invoice, SEPA direct debit, prepayment, card and wallet payments: we connect the payment methods your audience expects and set up fallback handling and payment status cleanly.

Inventory system and interfaces

So that orders, stock levels and prices are not maintained twice, we connect your shop generically to inventory management, shipping, accounting and payment providers via standardized interfaces.

Performance and load time

Large catalogs must not slow down category pages. We optimize caching, theme, images and database so the shop loads fast on mobile too and the Core Web Vitals stay in the green zone.

Accessible and mobile

The shop is built responsively and follows the accessibility requirements under the BFSG and WCAG 2.2 AA, so that as many people as possible can order without barriers.

Ongoing care

After go-live we stay on board: updates, security patches, backups, monitoring and small changes are handled as part of website care, so the shop runs reliably over the long term.

Why Shopware CE as the basis

We deliberately build on Shopware in the Community Edition, the open-source and free-to-use variant of the shop system. There are solid reasons for this: the source code is open, there is no dependence on a single vendor for continued operation, and the range of functions covers the requirements of the vast majority of mid-sized shops. Through the large number of available extensions and through custom development, the shop can be enhanced with exactly the functions you actually need, without paying for expensive license packages for features that remain unused. Because Shopware is developed in Germany, the typical requirements of German and European commerce are well covered out of the box, from price display and invoicing to the information duties in the ordering process.

A shop that fits into your processes

The biggest time drains in e-commerce are manual processes: retyping orders, updating stock, capturing invoices twice. That is why we never look at your shop in isolation but as part of a chain of order, warehouse, shipping and accounting. Via standardized interfaces we connect the systems you already use and clearly define which data flows in which direction. This keeps the effort per order low, even as volume grows.

  • Orders flow automatically into inventory management and shipping
  • Stock and prices are maintained from one leading source
  • Documents land structured in accounting

How your online shop is built

A shop project is predictable when the order of steps is right. Instead of developing immediately, we first clarify catalog, audience, processes and interfaces and derive a clear implementation plan with a fixed price from them. This way you know from the start what will be built, what it costs and when the shop goes live.

Online shop with Shopware CE, fixed price

from 4,900 euros net
  • A fixed price instead of an open hourly estimate
  • Shopware CE, open source and without license lock-in
  • Suitable payment methods and base design included
  • Care from 49 euros per month net

The entry price includes a working Shopware shop with your core catalog, suitable payment methods and clean base design. Extensive B2B logic, individual interfaces or very large catalogs are calculated by scope. Ongoing care of the shop starts at 49 euros per month net, and the initial consultation is free.

What makes a good shop in everyday use

The commercial success of a shop depends less on spectacular features than on the sum of many details: understandable product pages, a checkout with few steps, clear shipping and payment information and a load time that does not slow things down on a smartphone either. More than half of all retail visits today happen on mobile (Source: Statcounter, 2024), and long load times demonstrably cost revenue per session in e-commerce (Source: Deloitte Digital, 2023). We therefore build shops consistently mobile and fast and test every template on real devices instead of relying on desktop values.

Migrate your existing catalog

You already run a shop and want to switch? We migrate product, customer and order data in a structured way, set up the necessary redirects so existing rankings are preserved and plan the move so that sales continue with as little interruption as possible.

Visibility and care: the shop does not stop at go-live

A shop no one finds sells nothing. That is why we consider visibility from the start: clean technical foundations, sensible URL and category structures, fast load times and indexable content. On request, we also maintain your visibility on an ongoing basis. Equally important is technical care after launch: shop systems need regular updates and security patches to stay stable and protected. We handle these tasks as part of website care from 49 euros per month net, so you can focus on your business while technology, security and speed run in the background.

Noticeably faster category pages and a clearly smoother ordering process. Concrete results on request.
B2B dealer shop
Starting point
Orders arrived by email and phone and were transferred into the inventory system manually.
Measure
A closed dealer area with customer groups and tiered prices, connected to the inventory system via a standardized interface.
